Controller Information

It will take a small army of dedicated controllers, mostly enroute, to service the gaggle of planes we expect to have streaming across 9 centers on September 27th. This is a unique event because it will involve controllers all across the country providing service simultaneously during one Saturday afternoon. Here's the preliminary low down on staffing requirements and how your center can help make this event a success and an example for future events of its kind.

The coordinator of each ARTCC will make the final determination for staffing in their ARTCC, so contact your Chief/Assistant Chief to volunteer for a controller position. The success of this event rests on every controller along the route. No position is less important than another.
