Welcome to Seattle ARTCC's Eastern Washington Poker Run!
Sunday, June 26th, 2005
2000Z - 2300Z
The Eastern Washington Poker Run is Seattle’s second poker run in the last couple years. For those unfamiliar, a poker run is basically a general aviation fly-in poker style. Pilot grab their favorite "PROP" General Aviation aircraft and have the choice of whether to start in Yakima (KYKM), Richland (KRLD), Walla Walla (KALW), Pendleton (KPDT), or Pasco/Tri Cities (KPSC). From any starting airport, pilots then depart to the next field in the circuit. The order to be flown is YKM-RLD-ALW-PDT-PSC-YKM. Upon landing at each field, the pilot is to call the “Dealer” (tentatively SEA_V_APP) and request a card. All the cards dealt out will be recorded by the dealer and the pilot with the best 5 card poker hand wins! They will have bragging rights throughout the VATSIM community as the best poker playing pilot!
Sign up and reserve your spot today for the Eastern Washington Poker Run! There is a maximum of 50 pilots for this event (10 starting at each airport), so sign up today!
This is not a race, you simply need to reach the 5 fields in your curcuit to get your hand to play. Weather permitting, this will be a VFR event with mandatory flight following for all participating pilots. IFR procedures will be enforced for any segments in or out of participating airports which are IMC during the event.

That's right, our friends at FlyTampa are sponsoring the Eastern Washington Poker Run! Put your prop where you mouth is and get in the skies Sunday. FlyTampa will be giving a free copy of FlySeattle to the winner as soon as it is released!
