Event Postponed

Friends, Pilots and controllers:

I truly apologize for the late notice, but ZSE will officially postpone the Cascade Chaos event until a future date yet to be determined. Due to a number of circumstances, the preparation for the event was not completed, the number of available controllers does not appear to be sufficient to provide the level of service you all have come to expect from Seattle during this type of event. We are also concerned that with Rita bearing down that there may be major server issues possible during the day and evening today which would adversely affect the flow of the event.

We will be making new arrangements for this event to happen at another time.

Any controllers that are still available today will attempt to be online during the event time window for those pilot who are able to make it and are expecting to fly today. Again my apologies, and thank you all for your understanding.
